Description
In the style of the famous 'Gone with the Wind' film posters featuring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh, this anti-Reagan/Thatcher poster depicts Margaret Thatcher in the arms of Ronald Reagan against the backdrop of a nuclear mushroom cloud.

This poster was produced in 1981 by the Socialist Workers Party and casts president Ronald Reagan as Rhett Butler and prime minister Margaret Thatcher as Scarlet O'Hara from the hit film Gone with the Wind. The burning buildings and Reagan's promise to organise the end of the world refer to fears of nuclear war between East and West.
