Description
Made by Bradford members of the Communist Party of Great Britain. The 'Ban The Bomb' movement began with the first Aldermaston marches in 1958, so the banner may date from that time. The Aldermaston marches were organised by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, established in 1958. The CPGB supported the civil use of atomic energy at this time.

I think this predates CND and dates from the early 1950s. In the same style as the others in the series

Materials: Painted on twilled cream cotton.
