Description
The Colne Valley parliamentary constituency was won by Victor Grayson in 1907. A charismatic and turbulent figure he did this without the official backing of the trade unions, and the fledgling Independant Labour Party, which was allied to the Liberal Party. Grayson later lost his seat and influence in the labour movement. He disappeared in mysterious circumstances in 1920.

The black lettering is in the art deco style.

Materials: Painted calico.
