Description
Probably made in 1979 to mark the tenth anniversary of the 'Sun Stereo Chapel' which was established when Rupert Murdoch launched the new tabloid newspaper in 1969.
" Stereo" is short for stereotype, and refers to the section of the newspaper industry that produced cast-metal printing plates (stereotype); Chapel refers to the members of a trade union working in a particular newspaper.
