National Federation of Old Age Pensions Associations, Urmston Branch and New Brighton Branch banners
Founded in 1939, the initial aim of the federation was to secure an increased pension, in order to improve the living conditions of Britain's elderly people. Since then the federation has campaigned hard for further improvements and continues to press for change today under the new name of the National Federation of Retirement Pensions Association. As well as campaigning the Associations acted as social organisations.

Materials: Rayon rep with woven cotton interlining. Rayon cord trimming. Polyester fringe. Rep is a ribbed or corded fabric.
