Images on Front
At the top the Seal of Hawick. Below semi circle with All Seeing Eye then a scene of a Forester crowning a kneeling balck slave with Laurel wreath. On the other side is an Native American Indian holding a spear and a turk sat on a rock holding a sword. At centre bottom is a shield quartered (clockwise) Two white deer, Hunting horn and quiver of arrows, Chevron and hunting horn, clasped hands surrounded by foliage and flowers.Outer scroll work has hunting horns at either end.
