Description
White round button badge, with a cartoon illustration in which a small figure shouts "NO MINISTER!" to a large bowler-hatted figure in a suit and carrying a briefcase. Text along the bottom reads "Say no to the abolition of the GMC", referring to the Greater Manchester Council. The campaign was unsuccessful and Greater Manchester County Council was abolished on 31 March 1986 under the Local Government Act 1985.
