Description
The Constructional Engineering Union (CEU) was formed in 1924 to represent all grades of workers in engineering construction. It was formed under the agreement of the British Iron, Steel and Kindred Trades Association (an association formed through the transferral of members from confederating unions to the BISAKTA) as the CEU was formed from a group of members from this association. In April 1970 the CEU merged with the newly created Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers, and became the Construction Section within the new union.
