Description
A red and black print of Consett Steelworks near Durham. This print was given to Labour leader Michael Foot by the people of Consett in 1980, when the steelworks closed due to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher's cuts to the British Steel industry. The print reads "CONSETT / THE LOST HORIZON" and depicts a sunset over the outline of the steelworks.
