These bracelets were given to volunteers for helping out at the Sparkle festival event.
Sparkle is a national transgender charity founded in Manchester in 2005, that organises the 'Sparkle Weekend' every July, as well as fundraising events throughout the year. Sparkle began as a pagent for transfeminine people, and took place in the event rooms above the Thompsons Arms pub in the Gay Village. What began with a few close friends has now expanded into a weekend long pride festival with thousands of attendees from across the trans community.
