Description
This banner, made around 1964, bears a central design of a torch with a crossed quill pen and spade with the word "Liberty" across it. This was the Labour Party logo between 1924 and 1983, at which point the logo changed to a red rose. In contrast to the Conservatives; Labour and the Liberals were widely represented at archetypal 1960s protest marches.
