A white posters with bold black text. Text reads: "SOUTH WALES MINERS MARCH TO LONDON / CALL TO ACTION! VOLUNTEERS WANTED! / Arising out of the pronouncement by A J COOK, 18/9/27, a Miner's March to Londonfrom S. Wales is being organised. The March will commence on the day Parliament opens- Nov 8th, and the Marchers will arive in London Nov 20th, where they will be received by an All London Working Class Demonstration / The object of the March shall be two-fold, to arouse a Nation wide feeling concerning the appalling conditions in the Mine-fields created by the policy of the government, and the Coal-owners, and to seek an interview with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Mines, the Minister of Labour, and the Minister of Health." This is followed by a list of demands and a call to action: "THE TRAGEDY OF THE MINEFIELDS MUST BE MADE KNOWN!" This poster was produced by the South Wales Marchers' Organising Council in 1927.
