Description
Double sided banner in a lined heavy cotton. Silver cords run through the top and bottom of the banner appearing knotted at each corner through brass eyelets. The faceside is a striking abstract depiction of a wheel and factory chimney in yellow, cream and black satin applied work over a heavy red cotton ground printed with a repeating abstract line design. This side reads: 'District 3, Region 6 TCWU Textile Group'. A yellow and red 'Vote Labour' sticker is visible on the right side. The reverse is a pale blue ground with pieced black boarders, reading 'District Secretary Len Fielding 1974-1985' in black satin applied work. Two other motifs, one, a blue and silver T&G logo, the other, a gold, cream and red, DBTW logo. Both applied work.
