A red poster with black and white text advertising a festival of socialism, 1958: "Join us in the FESTIVAL OF SOCIALISM / St. Pancras Town Hall London / Whitsun / May 24th 25th 26th 1958 / PEACE - OUT WITH THE TORIES - SOCIALISM / Join now send 15p to Festival of Socialism 16 King St. London [illegible]W.C.2" The poster also features an image of a young couple, visible from the shoulders up, one of whom is holding a guitar. The poster was issued by the Young Communist League. Condition: good, the poster is mounted on a piece of white card via strips of paper stuck to the back of the poster and pulled through slots in the card. A fault in the bottom right corner obscures some of the writing.
