Description
'Fight Against Islamophobia' Poster showing a Black woman wearing a hijab, holding a poster with slogans including 'Black Lives Matter' 'Native Lives Matter' and 'Not My President'. She holds her right fist raised in a black power salute.

The poster is opposing Prevent, as Stand Up To Racism deems it an Islamophobic policy incompatible with UK civil liberties. Prevent is a UK government policy for preventing the radicalisation of children and young people - adults in positions of responsibility are expected to refer children who express a range of political opinions the government deems at risk of leading to radicalisation. Statistically this policy is disproportionately used against Muslim children when compared to other groups.
