Description
Black and white poster advertising a march against nuclear weapons, 1959. This poster was made by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and advertises a march from Aldermaston, where the UK's Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) is based, to London. The March began on Good Friday and ended on Easter Monday. The poster is predominantly black with white text and the logo of the CND, the peace sign. A white stripe in the middle is left blank, perhaps intended to be filled in by hand to add in a meeting point. Text at the bottom reads 'ban nuclear bombs, let Britain lead.' Condition: good
