Rajani Palme Dutt was an activist, theorist, and writer who was active in the Communist Party of Great Britain. He stood for election twice- once in 1945 in Birmingham, placing 3rd, and once in 1950 in Woolwich, London, placing 4th. This poster promotes him as a candidate by tackling issues prevalent at the time- the post-war housing crisis, rising unemployment, and peace following WWII.
