Description
A small red poster featuring an outline of the country of Combodia. Red stars show where the country has been hit by missiles launched from above. US president Richard Nixon sits upon one of the missiles, smiling and waving a Swastika flag. White text in the bottom right corner reads "Nixon's Peace". The poster was produced by the Organisation of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa, and Latin America (OSPAAAL). OSPAAAL originated as a Cuban movement against imperialism and neoliberalism in 1966 and aimed to unite liberation movements across the three continents. This poster was produced as a response to Nixon's invasion of Cambodia in 1970 during the Cold War.
