A small poster featuring '330' in large red numbers, with Russian text reading: "In the third year of the five year plan it is necessary for Bolshevists to fight for 330 million tons of cargo turnover by railways." This poster was produced in Moscow in 1931 during the first 'Five-Year Plan' (1928–32), implemented by Joseph Stalin, concentrated on developing heavy industry and collectivizing agriculture in the Soviet Union. Railways and rail cargo were of high importance in these plans as they were the primary infrastructure through which agricultural products were transported.
