Description
Hand painted poster, from the Communist Party of Great Britain collection, around 1930s
This hand-drawn and painted poster shows a young boy and a girl holding a baby, standing in an allyway. The poster reads "What does the future hold for these?". While the date of the poster is unknown, it is liekly from the 1930s due to its similar styling to others made in relation to the Spanish Civil War. This poster probably refers to the slow economic recovery following the Great Depression.
One of a series of hand-made posters from the CPGB collection in the same style.
