Printed poster calling for the liberation of Luis Corvalan, and the people of Chile.
The poster features an image of doves of peace coloured with the Chilean flag. Under the image reads "Libertad a Luis Corvalan y al Pueblo Chileno Prisioneros de la Dictadura" which translates to "Release Luis Corvalan and the Chilean people prisoners of the dictatorship".
The poster was published by the Communist Party in 1974, while Luis Corvalan was held as a political prisoner by Pinochet.
Corvalan was the secretary-general of the Chilean Communist Party, and was arrested following Pinochet's military coup in 1973. He was held as a political prisoner until 1976, when he was exchanged for a notable Soviet political prisoner and received asylum in the USSR.
