Title
Oct. 22 Where will you be?
Description
A poster made by the CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) advertising an event on October 22nd 1983. The CND was losing popularity after the cold war period, but its campaign against Cruise Missilies at Greenham Common brought a new wave of support. This protest was part of that campaign and at the time was the CND's biggest event, with over 200,000 people attending in London. Cruise Missilies were eventually removed from Greenham Common in 1992. The poster is black and white with yellow accents, featuring a photograph of a crowd during a peace march with multiple people waving the peace symbol. The date ("Oct. 22") is in large yellow letters at the top, with white text underneath reading "Where will you be?". The yellow CND logo is in the
centre of the photograph, with details for the event beneath it in black text.
