Description
A poster advertising the Communist University of London programme for 1980. The Communist University of London (CUL) ran from 1977 to 1982 and offered various classes and workshops for people to come and learn about communist philosophy. The events were accessible for a small fee and accomodation could be provided upon requst. This poster displays a progamme for the CUL event in July 1980. Printed on a black background with white lines to make it look like a brick wall, white text indicates graffiti. There is a yellow box with an orange border and black text details the courses on offer. Examples of courses include: 'Thatcherism: the fightback', 'Trade unions and contemporary capitalism', 'Economics for non-economics', and 'South Africa: a socialist perspective'. The words 'CUL '80' are printed in bold at the top with the dates printed underneath.
