Black and White sketch of Nelson Mandela when he was younger, from around 1960. This was a few years before he went to prison. Date of the sketch is unclarified but the photograph its from was taken in 1960. a3 piece of paper, a print. The paper is more of a card with a shiny plastic finish and the printed sketch is monochrome. The paper is slightly yellowed. The condiition is good, some folds and lines through the print.

Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, and after being released from prison, because the president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He joined the South African Communist party before prison, and contributed to protests, sabotages and action against the apartheid regime. He was imprisoned in 1962.
