Description
A postcard of a fabric banner made by various Peace Groups in East Anglia. The banner features many squares sewn together. Each square was embroidered by an individual member of a Peace Group and has a green or blue background with a white dove shape. In the photograph a woman can be seen looking at the banner, holding a baby in her arms. Information on the back of the postcard tells us that it was made in 1982 for the Peace Exhibition at Castle House in Suffolk. There is a 20p sticker on the back.
