Description
White poster with large red letters that read: "Tell Eden what you think", 1955-1957. This poster, screen-printed by Publicity Printing , was published by the Communist Party of Great Britain during the Cold War to express discontent with the UK's position as a member of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) which involved military involvement in communist states, the rearmament of West Germany, and development and deployment of US nuclear weapons at UK bases- all of which the Communist Party were opposed to. Anthony Eden was Prime Minister of the UK at the time, hence the poster asking its viewer to 'tell Eden what you think." Condition: good, slightly yellowed
