White poster with black text reading "No arms for Germany" in block capitals, around 1955. This poster was made during the Cold War, issued by the Communist Party and printed by Publicity Printing in protest of West Germany joining NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) and gaining rearmament following WWII. The Communist Party were against German military forces being armed as they thought it carried danger of another war with the Soviet Union over the occupation of East Germany, which could escalate to the use of nuclear weapons. Condition: good, slight tear on the left side
