Description
A white poster with red banners. Banner at the top has white text reading "JAN 22" whilst red text in the middle reads "HIGHER WAGES LOWER PRICES" and white text in a red banner at the bottom reads "LOBBY YOUR MP", around 1957. This poster was part of a campaign by the Communist Party to call for a general election following Anthony Eden's resignation and appointment of Harold Macmillan as Prime Minister of the UK. The Communist party campaigned for not just a change of Prime Minister but a change of government, including another general election to try and get rid of a Conservative majority following the Suez crisis, the testing and development of nuclear weapons, and resulting economic hardship. Condition: good.
