Description
Large Communist Party poster - says in large black writing which occupies the whole page "Out of school Out of work." On the "H" in school, there is a drawing of a sign hanging from the top of the letter - the sign is red and says "no vacancies" inside. Towards the bottom of the poster it says in red lettering "Fight Unemployement, Support Communist Policies." In very small writing on the right of the poster it says "Jett 78" - the 78 suggests the poster was created in 1978. Unemployment was rising in the 1970s, with high inflation, prices, and house prices. The poster is stating that unemployement was a huge issue, and that Communist policies could help fight this. Slight folds and creases in the paper.
