Description
A white poster with red and blue images advertising the 1977 Red Festival, an event in London presented by the Young Communist League. The image at the top of the poster is in red and shows a crowd of figures watching an event. Stars and swirls appear out of the space in front of the crowd. Underneath, a blue image shows a collage of photographs from anti-fascist demonstrations and previous YCL events. Photographs of Young Communists are interspaced with architecture and pop culture. Red text at the bottom of the poster advertises all of the acts and information for the festival. The festival took place at Ladbroke House on Highbury Grove in London, on the 22nd and 23rd of October 1977. Tickets cost 2.50 for the full weekend, or 1.00 for Saturday only. Unwaged tickets cost 1.30
