Description
Red, Black and white poster advertising a "save the NHS" demonstration. Says "SAVE THE NHS" at the top, with a box underneath saying health aid and picture of a red plus sign. Underneath this box it says "Demonstrate Saturday 5th March. 11am VICTORIA EMBANKMENT 2.30pm HYDE PARK RALLY." On the bottom left it says "transport:" in a box, and next to this it says in large writing "7 DAYS" - the 7 is a red colour. This is the logo for the "7 days" communist weekly paper. Underneath this it says "Communist Party Weekly Paper 40p" "write to: 7 days, 16 St. John Street, London EC1M 4AY for your free copy." This poster is advertising a demonstration at Hyde Park rally, to raise money for the NHS. Due to austerity and government policy, funding might have been scarce for the NHS at the time. At the bottom it says it was published by the CPGB and lists the address.
