Description
Large red, white and black poster. The background of the poster is red, with large white writing saying "SINK HEATH." Underneath this it says in black text "says the MORNING STAR." Underneath this there is a printed photo of Edward Heath with a hat on saying "Tory Policies." Heath is sinking in an illustration of a pool of water. This poster is stating that Edward Heath should go, hence "Sink Heath." The Morning Star is suggesting Tory policies are sinking Heath. This poster is strongly anti-tory policy and against Edward Heath. Heath was prime minister of the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1974. Heath led the membership of the European Communities, was prominent during the troubles, and attempted to change British trade unionism which resulted in a miners strike. The Morning Star is a socialist newspaper. At the bottom it says it was published by the CPGB and lists the address.
