Description
Yellowed paper with three different images on, two are directly printed onto the paper and one seems to have been glued to the top of the page. The top cartoon image shows four main figures, they look rich and are wearing flat caps. Three of them are holding guns, pointing them to the sky - it looks like they could be shooting birds. The bottom left image shows a man and a woman looking up at a dead bird hanging from the ceiling in a kitchen. The male figure has a checkered suit, with white checkered patterns, The female figure is wearing a longer skirt with the same white checkered pattern. The bottom right image shows a larger man, in a smart jacket in front of a fireplace. He is smiling, with a large cigar in his mouth. Above him there is a taxidermy moose head. In pencil, someone has written some text on the top right of the page, but it is difficult to read. The paper is yellowed and slightly creased, with stains on the back. This cartoon could be making a statement about
aristocracy.
