Description
A large poster with photographs of young French people and machinery taking up most of the space. Text reads: "A l'usine. Aux champs. A l'ecole. Dans les laboratories / Les Jeunes seront les pionniers de la renaissance francaise" ("At the factory. In the fields. At school. In the laboratories. / Young people will be the pioneers of the French Renaissance." Underneath which there is a quote from Maurice Thorez, leader of the French Communist Party from 1930-1964, "Young people: you must have a love of your job. A love of your profession. A love for a job well done. Appentices become masters in your profession." (translated from French) At the bottom of the poster text reads "All united youth of France / For national reconstruction. For a republic based on government responsibility before the elected representatives of the Nation. For a strong, free, and happy France." The poster was produced by the French Communist Party.
