The OGB has managed to more than double the minimum holiday entitlement for employees over the past four decades; from two weeks in 1946 to four weeks in 1977. From the holiday year 1986 there is a five-week minimum holiday. Leave for older workers was increased from three (1945) to six weeks. Not a gift from the heavens, but the success of strong unions. Ask your works council or union what your rights are. / OGB We ensure progress." (Translated from German) The OGB or OeGB is the Austrian Trade Union Federation and this poster was produced in 1986 to celebrate the success of their five week holiday campaign.
