This poster is part of a collection of 100 posters designed by Ettore Vitale for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) between 1973 and 1991. The posters promote a range of events and campaigns using the colours of the Italian flag- red, white, and green, along with motifs of roses, rainbows, and stars. This poster is blue and green with white text. Large white letters at the top of the poster read "PSI" whilst yellow letters against a green background read "Una prospettiva d'avvenire" (English: a prospect for the future" At the bottom of the poster white text against a blue background reads "Rinnovare le istituzioni renderle moderne, efficienti, piu' vicine ai cittadini / Lottare contro le diseguaglianze e le ingiustizie sociali, contro vecchie e nouve poverta / Realizzare un benessere piu' diffuso un progresso piu' equilibrato, uno sviluppo che rispetti la natura e l'ambiente / Questo il programma del riformismo moderno e del socialismo liberale. Questo E' il nostro impegno."
