This poster is part of a collection of 100 posters designed by Ettore Vitale for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) between 1973 and 1991. The posters promote a range of events and campaigns using the colours of the Italian flag- red, white, and green, along with motifs of roses, rainbows, and stars. This poster has a background of blue stripes and features an image of a dove in the top left corner. Yellow and white text at the top of the poster reads " Young people and socialists / To protect the environment" and large blue writing in the main body of the poster reads "Nature makes life / and air to breathe / and cities to live" Small text at the bottom reads "socialist youth federation", the youth wing of the PSI.
