Part of "100 posters, socialist image, designed by Ettore Vitale for the direction of the Italian Socialist Party." This is part of a collection of one hundred Italian Socialist Party posters designed by artist, Ettore Vitale. This poster is a large with a dark blue background. There is green, orange, yellow and blue text written vertically - this translates to "The right to know, the right to choose." Underneath this there is white text reading "youth movement socialist membership camapaign 1989." Underneath this there is a logo of the Italian Socialist Party, with a red carnation. Underneath this it says "MGS" - this stands for Movimento Giovanile Salesiano which translates to the Italian Youth Movement. The bottom of the poster has smaller white text which reads, "To join pay the fee of L.10.00 on C./CN.21008008 in the Head of Youth Socialist Movement VIA Del Corso 57 - 00186 Rome." This poster is trying to get younger people to join the Italian Socialist party. This poster was made in 1989. It is calling for Italians to vote for the Socialist Party in the 1989 European election in which Bettino Craxi was leader. This poster is in good condition.
