Description
A pink election poster featuring a photo of two toddlers - they are both white, blonde, and wearing short dresses. One is staring at the viewer. The poster says 'Vote Labour and give us a chance!'

The Labour Party lost power in 1931 after two years of Ramsay MacDonald's minority government. In the 1931 election, the party won only 46 seats, and a National Government, dominated by the Conservative Party, but featuring politicians from most parties represented in parliament, took power.

Labour managed to win 154 seats in the 1935 election this poster was created for, but this was still insignificant compared to the 429 won by the National Government.
