This portfolio collection is 1/4 of a larger collection of fifty posters produced for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1892 to 1970. This part consists of 12 posters produced for the PSI between 1917 and 1945. This poster features an illustration of a man standing with a shovel above a snake against a red background. Text on the poster reads "Italian Socialist Party / 1928" (translated from Italian) This poster was first produced in 1928 as a postcard but has been enlarged and reproduced as a poster for this collection in 1970.
