Description
A small black postcard featuring an image of a skeleton reading a pamphlet entitled "Protect and survive" White text at the top reads: "Have you ever wished you were better informed?" The postcard was designed by Peter Kennard and published by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). Text on the back reads: "For 30 years governments and news media have hailed nuclear weapons as making war unthinkable. Yet with talk of tactical theatre weapons and its self-help pamphlet 'Protect and survive', the Home Office rehearses for the Holocaust. Protection for whom? Survival from what?"
