Description
Black postcard with white and red text, and a yellow map image of Britain. The writing at the top of this postcard reads "This scepter'd Isle. Some of the 100+ US bases in Britain. There are red rots and arrows pointing to different parts of the UK on the map. The reverse of the postcard reads "The location, function and number of US bases in Britain has long been kept secret from the British people, as have the agreements under which they are operated. With the arrival of cruise missiles, the UK becomes a US missile launch pad. Britain has no effective veto on American action on British soil so long as the US maintains here 25,000 service personnel and 100 bases and facilities with their own lines of communication, command and control."
