Description
An A5 postcard featuring a photograph of The Strid, a thin yet deep creek in Yorkshire. The back of the postcard has a handwritten message: "Women demand peace in the world / love & peace" and an address + postage stamp. Black text at the bottom of the postcard reads: "THE STRID, BOLTON ABBEY, WHARFEDALE, YORKSHIRE. Treacherous narrow channel of the River Wharfe. Traditionally the scene of the drowning of 'Boy of Egremont' National Park."
