Description
A holographic card reading "Don't go back" with a photograph of Michael Howard's face which shifts into Margaret Thatcher's face when the card is tilted. This card was produced by the Labour Party ahead of the 2005 general election and compares the then-leader of the Conservative Party to Margaret Thatcher, prime minister from 1979-1990. The back of the card reads "'Our principles haven't changed, our values haven't changed' Michael Howard, Today Programme, 3 November 2003 / Let's take Britain forward not back / Vote Labour" The 2005 general election resulted in a victory for the Labour Party with Tony Blair elected as Prime Minister over Michael Howard.
