Poster advertising the celebrations for the 18th anniversary of the Daily Worker.


The poster features a drawing of a man reading the Daily Worker, and says "To fight the cuts in the standard of livin...working people have a fighting paper". Beneath the illustration reads "On it's 18th Birthday the only co-operatively owned daily paper invites you to hear: Marcel Cachin bringing greetings from French workers, Arthur Horner, William Rust, Dame Sybil Thorndike, A.F. Papworth, David Ainley, Hanwell Silver Band"


At the bottom of the page reads the location and date of the celebration, the Royal Albert Hall on the 4th January at 7 p.m. Beneath reads "Tickets 3/- 2/- 1/- from Daily Worker 324 Grays Inn Rd."
