Yolocamba I-Ta were an El Salvadorian folk group. Their name originates from two native lanuages from Central America - Chorti and Lenca. There are two possible meanings to their name; "The Melancholy of the People" or "The Rebellion of a Crop". On the poster, the translation is provided as "The Rebellion of the Sowing".

In 1983, both El Salvador and Chile were under military-led governments which were being opposed by significant civil resistance and guerilla warfare. El Salvador's Militart government were backed by the United States of America, who also backed the Chilean Junta dictatorship of Pinochet.
