Poster, "Chile's New Found Order [â¦] Every College a Centre of Solidarity With Chile", published by the National Union of Students.
The poster is blue, and features a large image of Chilean Dictator Pinochet, along with various photographs of Chilean soldiers and explosions formed into a collage. To the right at an angle reads:
"Chile's New Found Order
*Since the coup in 1973 over 1million people have been forced to leave Chile due to the repression of the Junta
*20-30,000 people have been killed
*2,500 people have disappeared"
Beneath this, in normal horizontal orientation reads: "Involve your student union in Solidarity work around the following five points:
* The right of return for exiles to live in Chile
* the release of all disappeared persons and political prisoners
* the effective economic boycott of Chile
* the sponsorship of projects inside Chile e.g. dining-rooms
* general educational work on the situation in Chile
