Description
OutRage! was a queer direct action group formed in May 1990 and active until 2011. Its aims were to assert the human rights of LGBTQIA people; to fight homophobia, discrimination and violence; and to affirm rights to sexual freedom and self-determination. This is a plain white poster with black text reading "DAVID ENGLISH! HATE MONGER!" The OutRage! logo is at the bottom of the poster. This poster was used in 1998 at a silent protest during the Memorial Service for the former editor of the Daily Mail, Sir David English, due to homophobic beliefs he promoted through the paper.
