Description
OutRage! was a queer direct action group formed in May 1990 and active until 2011. Its aims were to assert the human rights of LGBTQIA people; to fight homophobia, discrimination and violence; and to affirm rights to sexual freedom and self-determination. This poster has a black background with white text and reads "QUEERS RING 071 490 7153 SOLICIT LINE!" This poster was made in protest of laws which criminalised gay sex, in particular the offence of procuring â the inviting or facilitating of gay sex, which wasn't repealed until 2003 in England and Wales.
