Description
OutRage! was a queer direct action group formed in May 1990 and active until 2011. Its aims were to assert the human rights of LGBTQIA people; to fight homophobia, discrimination and violence; and to affirm rights to sexual freedom and self-determination. This is a poster with an illustration of a pair of eyes and black text advetising a 'WINK-IN' protest, a protest organised to fight against laws which criminalised gay sex, in particular the offence of procuring â the inviting or facilitating of gay sex, which wasn't repealed until 2003 in England and Wales.
